Configured Things appoints Chair of its Board of Directors

Bristol, UK - November 28th, 2018

Today Configured Things announced its appointment of Martin Griffiths as the Chair of its Board of Directors.

Martin joins Configured Things bringing a wealth of experience in the successful management of companies and large projects. Martin is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with Deloitte in the City in the early 1980s.

During his business career he has been involved with various areas of Corporate Finance including start ups, MBOs and MBIs where he acted either as CFO or CEO. His past experience includes hospitality (CEO of Centre Island hotels – employing 2,000 people when he retired from the business) and Engineering (CFO of the Autogard Group from Buy In to a disposal to Rexnord LLC as well as CFO for HJ Weir Engineering for 15 years).

Martin is currently Chairman of RSG plc, a large privately held IT and Technology Change recruitment business ( Sunday Times Fast Track 250 company) and Chairman of the Ashton Gate Group. In the latter role he oversaw and managed the building of the new Ashton Gate stadium with a particular emphasis on bringing forward an outline for a new generation, digitally enhanced, facility.

He also co-founded the Bristol Sport Foundation (now one of Bristol’s largest third sector providers). Interests include all forms of sport although activity now restricted to fly fishing and golf.

Configured Things looks forward to Martin’s appointment leading to accelerated growth and advancing the maturity of its operations.
